The United Methodist Church is responding to earthquakes in both Haiti and Chili through the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) – If you would like to donate to the relief and recovery work following the earthquakes in either Haiti or Chili, you can make your check payable to CUMC and note which earthquake you would like to donate to.  100% of all donations will go directly to support the earthquake recovery.

How can you help?

First, pray for Haiti, Chile and for those involved in the rescue efforts.   It is our prayer that God's hand is on those searching for survivors, and that God's peace is with those who have lost loved ones.

Second, give generously to UMCOR, the United Methodist Committee on Relief.  UMCOR is always among the first on the ground in these situations, and the last to leave. You can give through Centreville UMC by making your check payable to “CUMC” and noting “Haiti” or “Chile”.
